Itinerary:
- Day 1:
- Depart from Marrakech early in the morning and drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2,260 meters above sea level.
- Stop at the top of the pass to admire the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
- Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified village made of clay and stones that has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
- After visiting Ait Benhaddou, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, for a quick stop to visit Taourirt Kasbah.
- Drive through the picturesque Draa Valley, which is famous for its stunning palm groves, old kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages.
- Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in the valley before continuing the drive to Zagora.
- Upon arrival at Zagora, take a camel ride to the desert camp while enjoying the stunning scenery of the desert.
- Have dinner at the camp and spend the night in a private tent with shared bathroom facilities.
- Day 2:
- Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, and enjoy breakfast at the camp.
- Take a camel ride back to the starting point and drive back to Marrakech through the same route.
- On the way back, stop for a visit at the village of Agdez and admire the panoramic view of the Draa Valley from the top of the hill.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the drive through the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
