• Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi’n’Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs – Kasbah stay.

We start the day by leaving Marrakech and driving towards the High Atlas Mountains. We cross the Tizi’n’Tichka pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. We then continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its numerous movie studios and sets. Here, we can visit the Kasbah Taourirt, a stunning 17th-century palace that was once the residence of the Glaoui family. We then head towards the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a picturesque area dotted with ancient fortified houses.

• Day 2: Kasbah stay – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Bedouin camp

After breakfast, we depart from the kasbah and drive towards the Todra Gorge, a stunning natural canyon that reaches up to 300 meters in height. We can take a short hike through the gorge, admiring the towering walls and the crystal-clear river that runs through it. We then continue towards Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, we switch to a more traditional mode of transport and ride camels into the desert. We can enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the desert, watching the shifting sand dunes and the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets. We then arrive at our Bedouin camp, where we can have dinner and spend the night under the starry sky.

• Day 3: Bedouin camp – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.

We wake up early to enjoy a sunrise camel ride, which offers a unique and magical experience as we watch the first rays of light appear over the desert horizon. We then say goodbye to our hosts and start our journey back towards Marrakech. We stop in Ouarzazate once again to visit any sites we missed on the first day, such as the Atlas Film Studios or the Kasbah Tifoultoute. We then continue towards the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the beautiful scenery of the Tizi’n’Tichka pass once again. We arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where our journey ends.
